I have attained both my bachelors and masters degree from the University of Tartu, Estonia in the field of gene technology. Since 2004 I have been part of bioinformatics group BIIT. Currently I'm doing my PhD in the field of neuroscience in the Department of Physiology in the University of Tartu. My mission is to explore and describe gene expression dynamics in the central nervous system. During The course of my studies we have developed a novel high-throughput microarray analysis framework DEMI that can be used to study differential expression on different genomic target levels.
